The kids and I got sick, we had to kill two snakes, the toilet ran...And yes, it's funny how many close friends and family never even acknowledged he was gone. Of course there were a few who stepped up, and I am so grateful. It's been a while since I've stopped by. I needed to step away from blogging for a bit, but I'm back so we'll see each other more frequently.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01680470602835526738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6610953973028158826.post-58763393501980521182014-11-08T11:21:58.698-08:002014-11-08T11:21:58.698-08:00Our prayer often is "Lord, make be be who You...Our prayer often is "Lord, make be be who You created me to be." Like the Litany for Humility, it is a tough prayer, especially when we think on who HE was created to be.

A recent meditation in my Divine Intimacy book spoke about indifference, seeking to do God's will and being totally indifferent to its impact on me. It talked about being selfless, and the temptations of our ego tend to deflect us from the path laid before us. I admire your husband, and you, as examples of persevering in God's will, regardless of the cost. You shall be in my prayers this night.
