The Ascension of the Lord & Our Lady of Fatima

Today we had a "dual" celebration!  We celebrated both The Ascension of The Lord and the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima...It was glorious fun!   Our activity list, with links, is listed at the end of this post.
A Blessed Ascension to All!
After some of our family attended daily Mass this morning, we decorated our outdoor fort like heaven!  We used all of the white sheets we could find!  It was a "heavenly" way to start the day...
Today's Gospel~ "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy."~John 16:20
"You heard me say, I am going away and I am coming back to you."~John 14:28~
"As the disciples were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight"~Acts 1:9~
"Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking in the sky?  The Lord will return, just as you have seen him ascend, alleluia." ~Acts 1:11~
This was the setting for our Ascension Lunch
