Our firefighter Dad is on duty today!
It's a particularly bummer year for the children since Dad works Christmas too!
God Bless them one and all...Firefighters, Police, Soldiers, and all who keep us safe.

We won't be with him in person but he is always in our hearts. These times help us realize the importance of not taking things for granted, like having our loved ones with us all the time. We are praying for all those who are separated from their families on holidays such as these.

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Tiffany!! I know some families who celebrate Thanksgiving dinner on days other than Thanksgiving. My beloved and I are celebrating a second thanksgiving dinner with his mother and his children and their children this Sunday. Maybe you do that in your family too. I'm saying a prayer of gratitude for all those dedicated service workers who work on holidays to keep us all dafe and well.
ReplyDeleteHope your day was wonderful in spite of not being together- and hope you are all well!
ReplyDeleteWe no longer have to be separated from our guy due to his new position but I remember those holidays well. Joining in your prayers for all who are without loved ones this year. Love the graphic, btw!!
